Thomas Jefferson University is among the top 50 universities in the country, according to the Wall Street Journal. The University ranked No. 48 in the WSJ/College Pulse 2024 Best Colleges in the U.S. list. The University also topped all schools in Pennsylvania for social mobility.

Interim University President Susan C. Aldridge announced that  Matt Dane Baker, PA-C, DHSc, has been appointed Provost of Thomas Jefferson University. Dr. Baker has been serving as the University’s Interim Provost since July 1, 2022, in addition to his role as Senior Vice Provost for Academic Affairs. 

Jefferson announced that Keith Leaphart, DO, MBA, has been named Enterprise Executive Vice President (EVP) and Humana Chief Health Equity and Community Impact Officer, effective Monday, September 11, 2023.

Jefferson’s CEO Joseph G. Cacchione, MD is pleased to announce that John P. Mordach, has been named Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Jefferson, which consists of Thomas Jefferson University, Jefferson Health and Health Partners Plans. Effective March 20, 2023, Mordach will join the organization from Duke University Health System (DUHS) where he served as Senior Vice President, CFO and Treasurer for the $4.5 billion academic health system since 2020.
